Store Leader - The Coffee Club, Mount Isa

We are looking for a driven and experienced Store Leader to join our team at The Coffee Club in Mt Isa – a regional North West Queensland city.

The Coffee Club was founded on family, friends and customer needs approx. 35 years ago. The idea was to create a place that was more than just somewhere for people to meet for coffee; it would be more casual, comfortable – yet sophisticated, stylish – yet affordable.  Now serving millions of loyal customers as one of the world's largest Australian café chains.

What is the role? 

As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the store's operations. This includes overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving sales to achieve targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for coffee and a commitment to excellence.

Who are we looking for? 

As well as having proven experience in a retail or hospitality management role (preferably within the coffee or food industry), you will also be: 

  • A People Person – you find it easy to genuinely connect with both your customers and your team;       
  • Confident – in your hospitality skills and operational knowledge;       
  • A Leader - you lead by example, inspiring and developing your team to collectively deliver The Coffee Club standards.

Assistant Manager

Restaurant Manager
Cafe Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Our cafe is open 7 days per week, from 6am to 2pm.  There is no night time work and some weekend work is necessary. Certificate in Hospitality Management is preferred but not essential.
